Goldenvoice: Coachella
The concerts will kick off the night before Coachella Weekend 1 on Thursday April 14 with three shows - Courtney Barnett and Alvvays at The Glass House, Silver Sun Pickups and Foals at Fox Theater Pomona and Bob Moses with The Black Madonna at El Rey Theatre.
The side shows take a break for the weekend and pick back up on Monday with shows all over the area. Though you won't find the premiere headliners like LCD Soundsystem, Guns N Roses and Calvin Harris performing at these smaller venues, they were able to get the second line names like James Bay, The 1975, M83, Beach House, Miike Snow and Rancid to all do shows over the week.
Over the next six days from April 18 to 23, there will be performances by Beach House, Miike Snow, St. Germain, Ex Hex, Grimes, Of Monsters & Men, AlunaGeorge and many others at venues like The Regent, Club Nokia, The Echo and Fonda Theatre.
Things will wind down on April 22 and 23 during the second weekend as there are only four shows over those two days by The Arcs and The Heavy at The Glass House and BadBadNotGood at The Roxy on the 22nd, while Snakehips and Lido will take on The Glass House and Parov Stelar will perform at Club Nokia on the 23rd.
There are a few other shows listed booked by the Goldenvoice group of venues that are around the time of the festival with artists at Coachella also listed.
Check out the poster below to get more information about who will perform on which day at which venue. Tickets go on sale at scattered times. Some are on sale now, some go on sale this Friday, Jan. 29 and others the following Friday on Feb. 5.
