South Florida native Sammy Arriaga may now call Nashville home, but the Cuban-American Country singer keeps enough touches of home in his music that the beach is never far away.
America got its first taste of Sammy during Season 10 of American Idol and in the three years since, he's been honing his sound and performing with artists like the ACM-nominated duo Love and Theft and The Voice winner Cassadee Pope.
This summer, Arriaga will be busy as he tours with Trace Adkins and works with Eckrich on the Eckrich Mobile Sampling Tour supporting up-and-coming Country artists. The company known for its smoked sausage and savory deli meats will release a series of songs from his up and coming EP over the next few months on the first of each month, accompanied by a live acoustic video of each song. They are even offering his debut single, "Lighter Up," as a free download for those who like their Facebook page.
With today being the first day of Memorial Day weekend, what better way to kick it off than by lighten' it up!
