Drake has been on fire lately with tremendous success. As if his BET Awards nominations weren't enough, Music Times just got wind that the Toronto rapper tops the MuchMusic Video Awards nominations.
According to the Toronto Sun, Drizzy leads the pack alongside Hedley with six nominations each.
Drake's nominations include "Video of the Year," "Director of the Year," "Hip-Hop Video of the Year" and "International Video of the Year by a Canadian."
It has been reported that hip hop artist SonReal trails closely behind with five nods while Montreal indie darlings Arcade Fire and alternative R&B star The Weeknd garnered four each.
Justin Bieber even scored two nominations for "International Video of the Year by a Canadian" and "Your Fave Artist/Group."
The MuchMusic Video Awards is an annual award show presented by the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic to honor the year's best music videos.
The ceremony, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, will air live on June 15 at 9 p.m. ET on Much, CTV and CTV Go.
This year's performers include Lorde and Imagine Dragons, with more set to be announced in the coming weeks.
A red carpet special will be aired an hour before the big show, which is being co-hosted by reality TV stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
As previously reported, Drake has also been nominated for three BET Awards.
The YMCMB lyricist will go up against Future, J. Cole, Jay Z and Kendrick Lamar for "Best Male Hip Hop Artist."
He is also nominated for "Best Collaboration" and "Video of the Year."
