Emeli Sande is back at it! Vibe magazine reports that the British songstress recently revealed that she's writing new music for Rihanna.
"There's been a lot going on. I've been back in [the studio] with Naughty Boy, which has been amazing. I've been writing for Rihanna's new movie, which has been incredible. I was with Rodney Jerkins the other night. I feel now I'm back in creative mode," Sande said during an interview with Digital Spy.
According to Vibe, Rihanna is currently working on a concept album around the forthcoming 3D-movie titled Home.
Last month, Music Times reported that the Bajan pop star's vocals would be featured in DreamWorks' animated film.
Rihanna will voice the character Tip, a stubborn teenage tomboy helping a group of aliens find their new home.
As previously reported, the film is based on Adam Rex's book The True Meaning of Smekday and is the first animated film with an African-American lead character.
The film also features vocals from Jim Parsons as an alien named Oh, Jennifer Lopez as Tip's mother and Steve Martin as Captain Smek, the leader of the "Boov" alien race.
Indiewire released a synopsis of the film that reads, "When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while the Boov get busy efficiently reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, (Rihanna) manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov by the name of Oh (Jim Parsons). Equally stubborn and set in their ways, these two fugitives realize there's a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime. Good thing they have a flying car."
Home is slated to hit theaters on November 26.
