Yesterday was J. Cole's birthday but that didn't stop him from sharing some gifts with his fans. The rapper released the album, Forest Hills Drive Live, in celebration of his 31st birthday. The album covered his Fall 2015 show at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina Now a day later, J. Cole has dropped the visual for his track, "Love Yourz."
The video for "Love Yourz" features footage from Cole's show in Fayetteville which was completely sold-out and behind the scenes snippets of his life. If you watch the video, you'll catch visuals of Dreamville's Omen, Cozz, Bas, YG, Pusha T, No I.D., a few Roc Nation Execs.
J. Cole's Forest Hills Drive Live album features 13 tracks that include songs from the original 2014 album and past hit tracks, "Lights Please," "In The Morning," and "Nobody's Perfect." The album is available to purchase on iTunes and can be streamed on Spotify. The rapper had a few early copies sent to some fans which falls in line with Cole's style. Back in December, he dropped the mixtape, Revenge of the Dreamers II, a few nights early than its set date and gave some lucky fans a chance to talk to him on the phone.
If that wasn't enough for all his fans, Cole also released the HBO special, Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming in early January. The special was about Cole's life on the road after releasing his hit album, his growth as an artist, his connection with his fans and more. The special featured cameos from Drake, Jay-Z, Rihanna and more.
Between having the first album to go platinum without any features in 25 years, releasing his HBO special and releasing this new album, Cole has had nothing but good vibes going on. And of course, he has shared it all with his fans.
