Wiz Khalifa faced some legal troubles but that didn't stop him from releasing his 28 Grams mixtape as promised.
Wiz's latest project consists of 28 tracks and features guest spots by Chevy Woods, Ty Dolla $ign and Berner.
The DJ Drama-hosted tape also features previously released remixes, "Maan," "James Bong," "The Rain" and "Get That Zip Off."
Production on the tape was provided by Metro Boomin,' Sonny Digital, 808 Mafia and Sledgren.
Prior to the release of 28 Grams, Wiz told MTV that he wanted his latest tape to be added to the list of Khalifa classics.
"Cabin Fevers - people love those. Kush and Orange Juice - people love that. Prince of the City, 1 and 2 - [fans] love it. Burn After Rolling - classic; Taylor Allderdice. Everybody comes up to me and tells me what's a classic so I'm just gonna add to the list."
As previously reported, 28 Grams will serve as a prelude to Wiz's forthcoming album Blacc Hollywood.
"I feel like Blacc Hollywood is my best, most solid effort, because I'm happy with everything that's going into it and how I project it to come out even before the CD even comes out," he said. "I'm most confident in this one, [more] than I've ever been in any of my albums."
As far as his run in with the law, Wiz was arrested May 25 for pot possession as he made his way to Neon Desert Music Festival in El Paso, Texas.
