Electric Zoo has announced the second round of artists for the 2014 lineup, revealing more than 60 new acts in addition to those previously announced.
Among the notable additions are The Chainsmokers, GRiZ, Candyland, Otto Knows, Fehrplay, Hot Since 82, Brillz, MAKJ, Oliver Hldens, Pete Tong, Le Castle Vania, Alvin Risk, Audien, Joseph Capriati, What So Not, and more.
Previously announced acts include David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren and Kaskade along with Dada Life, Nicky Romero, Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, Zedd, Knife Party, Laidback Luke, Alesso, Jack U, and Dash Berlin, Wolfgang Gartner, Zeds Dead, Datsik, Jamie xx, and Benny Benassi, among others.
The fate of the festival had been uncertain after festival organizers had to cancel the third day of last year's event due to two attendees dying from drug overdoses and another being sexually assaulted.
They've made some changes to this year's event to increase safety and health measures, including drug sniffing dogs and undercover narcotics officers.
Electric Zoo takes place on Randall's Island in New York City over Labor Day weekend (August 29-31). General Admission 3-Day Passes, VIP Experience 3-Day Passes, Platinum Experience 3-Day Passes and Single Day passes are now available on the festival's website.
