According to reports, The Documentary 2 rapper, The Game, recently lost a $10 million dollar lawsuit by default to former reality star contestant, Priscilla Rainey, who accused him of sexual assault back in August of 2015. Reports suggest that Game never formally responded to the lawsuit and as result, Rainey has been deemed the victor. However, Rainey now has to prove before a judge why she deserves a $10 million settlement.
Late last, year Rainey filed a lawsuit against the rapper after she insisted he assaulted her while she was a part of the cast of VH1’s dating show, She Got Game. Rainey who was there for more than the majority of the season, accused the rapper of violating her in courtroom documents saying the rapper forcefully put “his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks." The accuser insists that it happened multiple times.
Although Game publicly fought back against the accusation via social media, it appears he just never quite got around to responding to the complaint in a court of law and it may tremendously hurt his pocketbook as a consequence now.
Rainey’s defense now has to prove that she is indeed entitled to all the money. Her lawyer, Adam Horowitz, insists, "My client was damaged by the sexual assault. She’s been in therapy. Now, she’s anxious to tell her story.” HotNewHipHop reveals the next court hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24.
Currently, Game is on his The Documentary 2 World Tour and has yet to respond to the news. Perhaps Game will make it his business to be at the next hearing later this month.
