This year, RiseFest is partnering with Village Northwest Unlimited and Soles4Souls to provide jobs for people with disabilities and give footwear to those in need across the world. They ask festival attendees to bring old shoes, sandals and boots (even if you only have one). All of the footwear will be piled up in the bid Demco wagon and sent to Village Northwest Unlimited to be spiffied up.
Music at RiseFest will be plentiful with appearances by Rapture Ruckus, Loftland, Jay-Rah, Jeremy Camp, Tenth Avenue North, Big Daddy Weave, Plumb and The Afters. Illustionist Joshua Jordan will wow the crowds and speakers Rob Roozeboom and Tom Henderson will speak to their hearts.
Camping, inflatables, face painting, carnival games and balloon animals courtesy of BoBo the Clown will round out the fun while seminars and the ability to design your own quilt block for a quilt that will be given to a child through the Children's Miracle Network will allow festival-goers to make a difference.
Camping runs $40 for the weekend if you're tenting it and $70 of you're bringing an RV. (Camping info)
Tickets are between $20 and $25 each with kids ages 10 and under getting in free. (Ticketing info)
