Is Beyoncé gearing up to release new music after her Super Bowl 50 halftime performance with Coldplay and Bruno Mars? If the BeyHive is to be believed, the answer is yes! And she's rehearsing with the previously unheard new singles now.
On Wednesday (Feb. 3), Beyoncé fansite The BeyHive tweeted out that Bey rehearsed two new songs while preparing for the Super Bowl. The songs have yet to leak online (and are unlikely to) because they were played only on speakers close to the stage.
According to Idolator, at least one of the new Beyoncé songs will be titled "Formation." Beyoncé was apparently spotted recording a new music video for the track in Los Angeles' Skid Row last month.
The release of "Formation" and possible another Beyoncé song will mark the first time the pop superstar has dropped new music since the release of her surprise 2013 self-titled album.
Beyoncé will perform at Super Bowl 50 alongside Bruno Mars and Coldplay, who are headlining the set. Super Bowl 50 will take place on Sunday, Feb. 7, at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco.
