As Billboard perfectly put it, Luke Bryan had "Some Kind of Night" last night at Charlotte, North Carolina's PNC Music Pavillion. During his cover of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' hit "Can't Hold US," he accidentally fell off the stage.
He suffered minor injuries but later tweeted about the incident saying, "I'm good. Few stitches."
According to The Daily News, Bryan got right back up and continued singing as the band covered for him to get back on stage.
"Check this out," he told the crowd after he recovered, referring to a previous fall. "The last time I was in North Carolina, I bused my ass on stage. What is it about North Carolina that makes me bust my ass? Please YouTube that sh*t."
One audience member did just that. Along with the video, she posted a message praising how Bryan handled the fall.
"I knew it had to hurt," audience member Carly Pyatte wrote. "Although he continued on and put on the best show EVER!"
So it appears all is well with the country star, who is scheduled to continue his That's My Kind of Night Tour tonight for the first of two dates at Bristow, Virginia's Jiffy Lube Live.
Earlier this week, Bryan was named People's Sexist Man in their 2014 Country Special Issue.
He is also nominated for five CMT Music Awards and recently became the first performer in the history of the Country Airplay chart to be featured in both the No. 1 and No. 2 positions for a given week with his hit "Play It Again" and Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll," on which he is featured.
