Ryn Weaver is not happy with Katy Perry or her endorsement of Hillary Clinton. On Wednesday (Feb. 17), the "Octahate" singer came for Perry on Twitter, saying that she bullied her during Drake's set at Coachella and that she's being paid to endorse Clinton.
As Gigwise reports, Weaver first responded to a tweet from Perry about performing at a Clinton benefit concert.
In a series of since-deleted tweets, Weaver came for Perry, claiming that she is a liar just like Clinton and that she is a bully who's being paid by the Clinton campaign.
"LOLOLOL SORRY NOT SORRY OLEASE OPEN UR EYES.. THIS TWEET IS IGNORANT IF NOT FUNDED BYE," she wrote with the link to a video titled "Hillary Clinton Lying for 13 Minutes Straight."
"No offense @katyperry but considering how much of a bully you were to me.. I hope u don't mind my mindful disagreement w ur $ endorsement," she added before detailing her mean-spirited run-in with Perry, whom she used to be friendly with.
"if u must know.. She came up to me and my friends.. Knowing I played.. After we were friends.. Then stared at me the whole time. She spoke to my friend waiting for me to speak... Anytime I spoke she started turning her head around pretending she heard something... Then said 'dos u hear something?' While staring at me.. Anytime I spoke.. After we were already friends.. Did this the entire night... Then came w us to drake and stared at me the WHOLE SHOW.. Then any time I caught her eye out of my periphery, she proceeded to alert her entire posse saying 'that ryn weaver girl is soooo obsessed with me' loud enough for my entire group of friends to hear," Weaver wrote.
She also came for Hillary Clinton, calling the democratic presidential candidate a "paid puppet."
Weaver then deleted the majority of her tweets aimed at Perry after fans of the "Dark Horse" singer started to attack her on Twitter.
Perry has yet to address Weaver's accusations of bullying at Coachella or that her Clinton endorsement is paid. Instead, she continues to promote her upcoming appearance at a Clinton fundraiser.
