Ryan Reynolds spoofed the controversial leaked audio of Kanye West while donning his Deadpool outfit as a response to the calls of the fans for the Marvel character to host Saturday Night Live.
A petition on Change.org was signed by over by 70,000 fans for Deadpool to host an episode of SNL instead of Ryan Reynolds, who portrays the character. In response to said request, the Green Lantern star created a video with NSFW messages, US Magazine reported.
The foul-mouthed character revealed that he isn't the right person to host the NBC show by saying, “Listen up, Lorne Michaels. SNL took my f--king Life of Pablo album without asking. Now I’m bummed. That and Rip Taylor. Fake ass!”
"I’ve got the biggest opening rated-R movie of all time," continued the superhero. "Are they f--king crazy? I’m 50 percent more influential than MC Hammer, Apostle Judas Iscariot, the KIA Sorento. Ten percent more influential than Barbara Bush, the Muppets, Bob Newhart. Sixty percent more influential than the iPhone 5, shredded cheese and Dr. Ruth. Seven percent less influential than the Urban Dictionary!”
As previously reported by Music Times, Kanye West had a meltdown backstage at SNL when his stage was ripped off. In his rant, he even mentioned that Taylor Swift has a "fake ass."
Apparently, Deadpool isn't the right candidate to host the return of SNL. The show will be back on March 5 after a two-week break and will be hosted by Jonah Hill with musical guest Future, Rolling Stone reported.
Meanwhile, the high demand of the fans show how famous the film is as it breaks records with its $55 million total domestic revenue, securing the number one spot at the box office, IGN reported.
The movie, which is the eighth installment of the X-Men film series, is an action-comedy that centers on the superhero who is seeking the man who ruined his life.
Actually #DEADPOOL was going to host back in the 90s, but then this happened. Thank god Tom Hanks was available.
