Last month, when fans went to 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville for the Peach Pickers' Georgia on My Mind benefit concert, they were expecting to hear the writing trio Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip and Rhett Akins, as well as Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell and Daryle Singletary. They got to hear the Georgia natives and things were going great with money being raised for the Georgia Music Foundation. Fans got to see Luke Bryan teaming up with the Peach Pickers to perform "I Don’t Want This Night to End" and "Play It Again." Cole Swindell shared "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight" and Daryle Singletary cranked the crowd up with "Too Much Fun."
And then concert-goers got a surprise they weren't expecting ... another homegrown Georgia boy - one Jason Aldean!
After he sang "When She Says Baby," he was the one who got a surprise as he was presented with the first ever Flamekeeper Award from the Georgia Music Foundation, honoring his dedication to promoting and preserving Georgia's musical roots and traditions with his music and his career.
