Chime For Change recently celebrated its one year anniversary and Beyonce was in attendance to partake in the festivities and offer up a generous donation.
According to Vibe magazine, Beyonce, who is also a co-founder of the organization, donated $500,000 to the cause.
CFC is a campaign that gives a voice and support to women across the world.
"We focus on using innovative approaches to raise funds and awareness for projects promoting Education, Health and Justice for girls and women," the campaign's site says.
It has also been reported that Bey has been participating with their campaigns over the past year.
"I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women," she said last April. "Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be. It's up to us to change the statistics for women around the world. I'm honored to be in the company of women who live fearlessly and set an example for the next generation of young ladies."
Beyonce headlined Chime For Change's The Sound of Change Live concert last year.
The show, held at Twickenham Stadium in London, was the first global concert event in history to support girls' and women's empowerment.
It was also CFC's first major fundraising events. Since then, the campaign has the first global concert event in history to support girls' and women's empowerment.
Chime For Change is set up in part by Gucci. Frida Giannini and Salem Hayek also serve as co-founders of CFC.
