If there's one thing everyone is talking about this week, it's surely the footage of Justin Bieber's various racist remarks. And despite the fact that he's recently apologized and admitted he needs to own what he did, Bieber's feet are still well in the fire with a number of people verbalizing their disapproval... including rapper/producer Lupe Fiasco.
When footage from the first video leaked, Bieber was able to blame it on his age rather easily, but the second video, which shows the singer replacing the lyrics to "One Less Lonely Girl" with the uber offensive N-word, looks to be a little harder to deflect.
Lil Wayne and other YMCMB members have all spoken out, claiming they remain on Bieber's side, but Fiasco has some other opinions.
The Chicago rapper recently gave an interview with MTV News and was asked about his thoughts on the subject. The artist took the question and compared the situation to another recent racist scandal in the news, Donald Sterling. Fiasco brought up the fact that the former LA Clippers owner never once used the n-word in his racist rant, but because Bieber said it, "it's cool."
"There was such an uproar about someone who didn't use the n-word at all," he continued. "And then you have somebody who just made a very racist joke about it – I wonder if Justin Bieber is going to get the same treatment as Donald Sterling."
The Chicago rapper answered his own question with, "I don't think he will."
