Gwen Stefani is apparently in love as photos of her and beau Blake Shelton are shared on the internet but the star remains coy about the romance and even refused to talk about it during a chit chat with Ellen in The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
On the Tuesday episode of the talk show, the star told the host that "it would be a good idea not to talk" about Shelton. Although DeGeneres approved her request, the talk show host showed photos of the couple in the background which made the "Hollaback Girl" singer blush. The star was also laughing and even talking about the photos.
The couple started dating last November and revealed their relationship when they fell in love in the last season of The Voice, wherein both of them were judges.
Rumors about the engagement of the 46-year-old "Make Me Like You" singer and the 39-year-old "God Gave Me You" singer have been making rounds on the internet. Although, there are also rumors about Stefani being pregnant and even about the couple's split.
"So when he popped the big question ... about you being his mentor, how did he do that?" DeGeneres said, trying to drop a message that Shelton might have asked her hand for marriage, before admitting that she has practiced the teasing intro of her question, People reported.
It is actually about Stefani being a mentor in The Voice under the team of Shelton, which is a way for the coach to keep his partner close to him since she will no longer be returning as a judge for Season 10 as Christina Aguilera takes her spot.
According to USA Today, the songstress said "yes" to the question and even added that she wants "to be on that show as much as possible" since she "got so much out of it."
The "Made Me Like You" singer also announced that she will be releasing her new album titled, "This is What the Truth Feels Like" on March 18. Reports reveal that the album is based on her romantic relationship with Shelton as well as the end of her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale, New York Daily News reported.
