Bobby Brown Is Back in Rehab for Suspected Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Just days after Bobby Brown's attorney confirmed that he and his wife, Alicia Etheredge, are expecting their third child, news broke claiming that the former New Edition singer has found himself back in a rehab facility for alleged drug and alcohol abuse.

It's no secret that the "My Perogative" singer has faced pretty troubling times in recent years with the death of his late ex-wife Whitney Houston in February of 2012, followed by the death of his 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina in July of 2015. Managing to cope while surrounded by all of this tragedy can be difficult for any person, and Brown seems to be no different after reportedly being admitted into a rehab facility.

According to Intouch Weekly, Brown could be in rehab undergoing treatment for cocaine and alcohol abuse. The allegations stem from a NY Daily News source whose account of Brown's stint in rehab differs from that of his attorney.

According to The Boombox, though the 47-year-old's attorney did not deny that Brown is actually in a rehab treatment facility, but the alleged cause of his stay was outright denied. Reportedly, Brown's lawyer refused to reveal what type of treatment the "Tenderoni" singer was seeking, but did claim that the drug and alcohol accusations were merely rumors.

Despite the family tragedies and the rumored drug addiction treatment the Bad Boy of R&B seems to be facing, he still has gigs booked across the country as he is currently on tour. According to Songkick, Brown is scheduled to perform on March 4 and March 12 in Charleston, SC and Baltimore, MD with additional R&B groups Blackstreet, Jagged Edge, 112, Keith Sweat and others.

Only a few weeks ago, Brown shared a photo on his Instagram telling fans that he was on his way to Indiana and D.C.
