Lil' Kim Gives Her Newborn Girl A 'Royal' Name

The "Queen of Rap" how has a princess. According to Billboard, Lil' Kim gave birth to a baby girl named Royal Reign this morning at a hospital in New Jersey.

Her reps told E! Online that Royal Reign was bored at 9:58 a.m. at Hackensack University Medical Center. She weighs 6 pounds, 5 ounces.

This is the first child for the rapper and her boyfriend, who is rumored to be New York rapper Mr. Papers.

Lil' Kim first announced she was pregnant back in February at MAC Cosmetics afterparty during New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, E! Online reports.

She revealed the baby's sex at a party on May 20, posting a Save the Date on Instagram.

As Billboard notes, Lil' Kim (born Kimberly Denise Jones) rose to popularity in 1996 with her debut solo album, Hard Core, which is certified double-platinum. She went on to win a Grammy and has released three more solo albums.
