As Ariana Grande prepares for the release of her new album -- she just announced the name's been changed to Dangerous Woman from Moonlight -- she sat down for a Twitcam Q&A with fans, revealing some details about her latest project.
Many fans were curious about Grande's decision to change the album's title. The singer said Moonlight was about portraying herself as a strong person, but Dangerous Woman makes an even stronger impact.
“'Moonlight' is a lovely song and it’s a lovely title. It’s really romantic, and it definitely ties together the old music and the new music. But ‘Dangerous Woman’ is a lot stronger," Grande said, according to Billboard.
“I want to be empowering my fans. I feel like my personal growth is reflected in the sound. I’m really proud of it. … To me, a dangerous woman is someone who’s not afraid to take a stand, be herself and to be honest,” she added.
There is no release date for the album yet, but Grande said she'll release a new song March 11, and March 12 on Saturday Night Live she will perform two new songs. The 15-track album will also feature three collaborations. The star said she is planning a world tour, which will come after she's finished promoting the album, Direct Lyrics reported.
During the 30-minute chat, she also sang a few lines from her new song, "Be Alright," in a cappella.
Grande shared a photo on her Instagram account that appears to be the album art. In it, she is wearing a badass leather bunny mask and a Henri Bendel choker. The caption reads: "DW coming soon." She also shared a photo of herself putting on the mask with rabbit ears, Perez Hilton reported.
