'LHHNY' Season 6, Episode 12 Recap: Remy Ma & Papoose's Big Wedding [WATCH]

All good things must come to an end right? Love & Hip Hop: New York aired the season six finale on Monday (March 7). The twelfth episode titled, "Love Conquers All," followed the highly anticipated wedding of rappers Remy Ma and Papoose. The lavish ceremony featured a star-studded guest list, mended relationships, and a lot of tears. This post is a recap of their magical winter wonderland wedding.

It's the day of Remy Ma and Papoose's wedding! Remy checks in on the venue to see how much progress the event planner has made with setting up for the event. Immediately after walking in, Remy is disappointed with what she sees. The last minute wedding arrangements are being executed by Yandy Smith's friend Ayanna. Remy complains to Ayanna, telling her that she expected things to be looking better than they do. She was also frustrated that her ice skating rink was not set up yet. Ayanna assures her everything will be ready and looking perfect by the time she walks down the aisle. Remy decides not to stress over it and heads to the back room to meet up with her little sisters (Raemonique and Remeesha) for her wedding day makeover. Although they're in her wedding, Remy still has to clear up some bad blood between them.

Papoose is surrounded by his close family and friends as he prepares to remarry Remy. Ayana drops off a video for Pap to watch, but he doesn't know what it is. He was shocked to find out it was Remy's strip tease performance from her bachelorette party. Pap immediately kicks everyone out of the room, including Remy's son, while he watches her kinky surprise performance. The cameras then turn back to Remy and her sisters. Remy is hurt by how Raemonique treated her while she was in prison, but Raemonique tells her she felt betrayed and left behind. After a few more shared opinions and shed tears, the sisters join in on a group hug and individual apologies.

While Remy and Rah Ali are chatting, Ayanna interrupts their conversation with some more bad news. She reveals the marriage officiant cannot be located, forcing Remy to find another one last minute. Finding someone to officiate their wedding was Pap's one responsibility, so Remy sends Rah to talk to him about the current dilemma. Papoose admits to already knowing about the situation and found a solution to the problem. Pap found the pastor who originally married them while Remy was behind bars. It's a surprise. Pap uses the situation to talk to Rah about his reservations about her friendship with Remy. The two use the opportunity to put their differences aside and express how much they both care for Remy and her well-being.

Guests are beginning to arrive as the venue floods with some familiar faces, including rapper Fat Joe, Law & Order: SVU star Ice-T with his wife Coco, as well as, the majority of the LHHNY cast. Creep Squad was also in attendance having drinks outside. Cardi B walks over to say hello to all of them and Cisco is instantly drawn to her. After she walks away, Cisco reveals he might be ready to settle down with someone like Cardi B. Peter Gunz on the other hand breaks the news about his decision to get a vasectomy. Amina Buddafly shows up to the wedding as Peter's date. He proceeds to tell her about getting the procedure done and things escalate quickly. Amina is devastated that Peter would make that decision without talking to her first, especially since she just had an abortion and he impregnated his estranged ex-girlfriend, Tara Wallace, again. Amina admits that she wanted another child with Peter and now she'll never get that opportunity. She tells Peter to stay away from her.

Remy is greeted by her son Jace, as he prepares to walk her down the aisle. Before that happens, Remy has a heart-to-heart with him about being missing from his life for so long. She's thankful that Jace doesn't resent or hate her, because she was locked up. Jace tells his mom that she was always there when he needed her to be. Remy expresses how much she loves her son, telling him that he'll always be the number one man in her life.

It's time! Papoose anxiously waits for his bride to met him at the altar, decked out in a white tuxedo and black fedora. The bridesmaids make their way down the aisle, including Rah, Papoose's daughter, and singer Keyshia Cole. Remy makes her grand entrance by walking down a staircase with Jace waiting to give her away. The two exchange personal vows, making them and the crowd very emotional. After being pronounced husband and wife for the second time, Remy and Pap embrace in a passionate kiss.

Remy and Pap shared their first dance together, which inspired Mendeecees to have a one-on-one with Yandy. Mendeecees thanks Yandy for holding him down, loving him and their children, and for being a strong woman in general. They then share a private dance together. Yandy tells him this will be the last dance they have for a long time, but Mendeecees wants to cherish the moment instead of dwelling on the negative aspect of his impending jail sentence.

After cutting the cake and dancing with their guests, Remy and Pap take a break to really take in the milestone that just occurred in their life. Pap and Remy discuss having a child together and announce to their guests that they're going to work on extending their family. Remy can't help but gush about how thankful she is to have Pap in her life.

As the season comes to a close, the cast members reflect on the obstacles they faced throughout the series and their excitement for the future. Showing budding music careers, babies being welcomed into the world, new business ventures, and family separation, this won't be the last time fans hear about their lives and accomplishments.
