In the midst of her Twitter feud with Azealia Banks, who has recently deactivated her social media account, Iggy Azalea moves on from the rift as she reveals the album cover art for her new single, "TEAM."
The new track is set for a March 18 rollout. Originally, it was announced that the release will be on March 21 but Def Jam pushed back its release for an earlier date, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The single is part of her second studio album titled Digital Distortion. To treat fans for the forthcoming release, the Aussie rapstress shared a photo of the single's cover art in her Twitter account.
“Hi everyone…. #10DaysTilTEAM so i thought i should share the ArtWork with you all. :-),” the "Fancy" rapper wrote along with an image showing a distorted art work with Azalea wearing a white baseball cap.
The lead single “TEAM” for her upcoming album was announced back in December. The star has also released the track “Azillion” in January which is also part of the album. A video was recently shot for the "TEAM" and the rapper also shared updates about it on Twitter.
“I finished the edit of ‘TEAM’ last night and I'm feeling really good about how things turned out,” she said in a tweet, according to Rap Up. “Heading back today to make some color correction notes and I'm excited to watch it again! hahaha. The dancers in the video just give me eternal life. I can't wait for you to see these girls.”
Back in December, Twitter user Tay The Chipotle Boy asked Azalea about the rumor of her next single saying, "@IGGYAZALEA any word on the rumors about your next lead single being called 'Team'! Excited for ya this year in 2016!"
With that, Azalea responded with a video of herself singing the outro of "TEAM" and she said her tweet: "@TaylorDTTT i dunno T, this outro is speaking to me and the answer sounds like a yaaaaaassssss."
