Dear Justin Bieber: Don't Call Out UFC Fighter Nate Diaz on Instagram

Despite the fact that Conor McGregor lost his UFC 196 to Nate Diaz by submission, Justin Bieber has made it clear via an Instagram video that he's not a fan of the victor's style of fighting. So, for our reoccurring "Dear Justin Bieber" piece, we've decided to let the pop singer know not to do this - though, hindsight, etc.

You can check out more buzzing news coverage from Music Times right here!

In a video featuring Bieber toasting to McGregor despite his loss, the "Sorry" singer shared some strong opinions against Diaz, according to UPROXX.

"No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect," the singer wrote in the caption of the video. [sic]

Let's take a look at this caption, because the video is actually fine. Saying the phrase "No bandwagon" is the equivalent of explaining "no disrespect" before insulting someone, or stating "not to sound racist" before saying something prejudice. We all think you're jumping on the McGregor bandwagon now, and possibly the UFC bandwagon since we didn't know you were into MMA, Justin.

To be fair, showing support for the loser of the fight is certainly not a bandwagon move, but it's too late - our minds are made up.

Justin also compliments McGregor's "finesse," which had clearly faltered in the match he just lost. Plus, he calls Nate Diaz's style "terrible," but includes the word "respect" before and after the insult. This is literally the "no disrespect" analogy I made earlier.

Basically, this was just a bad Instagram post, Justin. You have to be more careful with your social media posts, especially considering Nate's Instagram response could come true, which should definitely scare you.
