Trey Songz, also known as Mr. Steal Your Girl, helped one student score extra credit points on a test. A screenshot of the chemistry exam, which has gone viral, shows the "Foreign" singer was used as an example of electronegativity for one of its answers.
Daphney Chery, a teacher at a charter school, asked the class to "briefly explain electronegativity" for an additional five points on a recent test. One student came up with the perfect answer and did so with confidence, starting out with, "Yea I'm getting this 5 pts! “
Chery instagrammed the unnamed students response and the post has since been shared by Songz himself.
Making reference to Songz’s 2014 release "Mr. Steal Your Girl," a moniker he also uses frequently, the student wrote, “To properly articulate what electronegativity is, I would like to draw attention to Trey Songz a.k.a. Mr. Steal Your Girl. You see Trey has no chill, he's a killer, a savage. He steals other men girls without any remorse. Electronegativity is a concept with a lot of Trey like behavior. It's the ability for an atom to take another atom's electron. With Fluorine being the OG Trey Songz because it has the highest electronegativity out of all the elements. Straight stealing them. (That's an A+ answer, Ms. Chery.)"
It’s safe to say that both Chery and Songz were thoroughly impressed. While she called the response “by far the most creative one I've read yet!!!,” Songz said that he was “honored in a crazy way.”
As previously reported, Songz has been in the studio working on the follow-up to his 2014 album Trigga. Last June, he released Trigga: Reloaded, an updated version of the album. The project features previously released tracks including "Foreign," "Na Na" and "Touchin, Lovin" featuring Nicki Minaj.
