Rush of Fools' new project, Carry Us Now comes from a very personal place. The band released it after two years of struggle and loss. Jamie Sharpe lost his mom to cancer after a long battle and Jacob Chesnut lost his dad suddenly last year.
Kevin Huguley told CCM Magazine, "Without a doubt, the past two years have afforded us great blessing and also great hardship." Wes Willis added, "God gave us all a massive peace in the past two years. We clung to our families and church families, and we began writing the record. God is redemptive. We’ve seen it in our lives, so we wrote about it in this record."
The band is going to be on the road this summer, sharing the new music with fans.
