Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink was the coach of the 2009 final, which he spoke to TheFA.com about ahead of the game.
"It was a long time ago. I have good memories but that's the past," he explained. "They will remember that as well. Some might still be in the team so they'll go for revenge. We had a difficult game against them here recently. We hope to maintain our flow in The FA Cup when we play them there."
Hiddink also shared some injury updates with his team's official website, revealing that John Terry is returning to the pitch after missing 5 games, while Eden Hazard is also up for selection despite leaving the UEFA Champions League game against PSG this week with an injury.
Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez reflected on Everton's goals in a press conference headed into today's game.
"I don't see it as make or break. I see it as the type of game we want to be involved in," the manager said, according to Everton's website. "We are in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and we have the advantage of playing at Goodison. We look forward to being in these sort of games. We could achieve something really special."
