The official start to the EDM calendar is only a few hours away - Ultra Music Festival. Tickets are sold out for those who want to catch all of the lights, theatrics and unreleased tracks played at the festival, but for those who can't make it down to the Miami sunshine, UMF has been live streaming the festival for the past four years and will do so again this year in 2016. With the stream starting at 3 p.m., Ultra has unveiled the schedule for today which will include snippets of sets from Armin van Buuren, Tycho, Kygo, Martin Garrix and others.
The live stream will kick off each day at 3 p.m. EST and end at 12 p.m. EST on Friday and Saturday. Sunday it will start at the same time, but end at 11 p.m. when the festival itself ends.
The schedule has not been announced for the rest of the weekend, but fans can see who will be streamed live today. It will start with an hour of pre-show at 3 p.m. and then get right to the main stage with some sets from Julian Jordan and Blasterjaxx. The stream will meander around the grounds for a little bit, tuning into some music from Dash Berlin, Tycho and Kygo, but it will always stick with some of the main acts like DJ Snake and Armin van Buuren. It will end with a full hour-long broadcast of Martin Garrix, who is closing out the main stage and promises to bring a lot of new music from his upcoming artist album due out this year.
Fans who don't want to watch the big stage production, massive crowds and DJs barely DJing with their hands in the air, they can listen to the festival on UMF Radio on Ultra's website.
