Young Thug Announced Release of 'Slime Season 3' with a Funeral at SXSW

It has been said by many that Young Thug's Slime Season 3 would never come out and that it was being buried. Even Lyor Cohen released a video stating that the highly anticipated project would be buried, according to AllHipHop. But what fans didn't know was that this was just a prewarning of what was to come during SXSW.

Just a day after the following snippet went viral, Noisey revealed on their Instagram that Young Thug indeed "buried" Slime Season 3 and had a funeral for it at SXSW. Only thing is, the project WILL be coming out! On March 25th at that! Take a look at the photo below. The whole thing was just to announce that SS3 was still coming out.

The things that happen at SXSW! Entertaining, slightly exaggerated but overall good news for Thugga's fans. Slime Season 3 was originally due to drop back in December and then in February but it never came. Let's hope March 25 is the final set date!

While at SXSW, Thugga also put on a fantastic performance of his hit songs "Lifestyle," "About the Money," "Hercules" and more. According to Complex, the show was quite the wild one and the crowd loved it! Guess it's a great preparation for what is to coming during his upcoming tour. Thugga's Hy!£UN35 tour is said to start in May. If Slime Season 3 and Hy!£UN35 drop, that is going to be one hell of a tour!
