Port of Est. Share New Song 'Clash' After Debut Single 'Valentine In My Headphones' [LISTEN]

We hope you're not getting sick of electronica, pop duos because we have another one to share with you today that is definitely worth your attention. Vocalist Hannah Tarkinson and producer Todd Kitchens hail from Portland, Maine, where they started their band Port of Est. about two years ago. Earlier in 2016, we heard the band's first, infectious single, "Valentine in My Headphones," which had us waiting for more. Luckily for us, Port of Est. just recently premiered their newest song, "Clash." Listen to this new track below.

I understand that I started this piece off a little cynically, but you have to admit that this trend has been hanging around for a while. Chairlift, Crystal Castles, Purity Ring, and more are electronica duos featuring female singers with a male producer. Luckily for fans of this kind of music, they're all good and Port of Est. is on the rise to become the next best example of this formula.

In their inventive "Valentine My Headphones," we got a good taste of how these artists work together. Watch the official music video for this song right here:

Without losing a beat, Port of Est. shared their next song, "Clash," a few weeks later. This time around, the duo showed off another layer of their partnership that taps into more emotions. Listen to this brand new track right here:

Not only did these two talents come together to make music in a band together, they also started their own record label, Delphinium Music. We're expecting more from this band as 2016 moves along, as well as this label. According to the band's official bio, a full-length is in the works. So far, we love what we're hearing.
