Wrecking Ball ATL 2016 Festival Lineup Announced: Piebald, Hey Mercedes, Thursday & More!

The Wrecking Ball music festival in Atlanta, GA, has one of the most incredible lineups for the 2016 concerts I've ever seen. Iconic pop-punk, emo, and post-hardcore bands from my middle school and high school days are performing August 12 to 14, 2016, and in one place? Bands like Hey Mercedes, The Promise Ring, Piebald, and Thursday (to name a few) influenced current bands like Joyce Manor, The Menzingers and the other, younger bands listed on this lineup. This is like a dream come true. You can check out the full lineup below!

On a personal level, this lineup is insane because I was friends with The Menzingers about 15 years ago, and we'd talk about these bands all the time. This is an exciting list of bands, which basically looks like a mixtape I made for my LiveJournal account when I was 14.

The lineup was shared over at VICE Media's Noisey music blog, which reports that tickets for the festival will go on sale on April 1 on the official website for Wrecking Ball ATL.
