If you were hoping to meet Justin Bieber during his Purpose World Tour, you're out of luck. Just two weeks into his first tour in three years, the "Love Yourself" singer has cancelled his meet and greets with Beliebers, citing mental health reasons and exhaustion.
In a lengthy post on his socials, Bieber said that while he loves meeting fans, the meet and greets live him "drained and unhappy" after trying to live up to fans' expectations of who he is supposed to be.
Bieber, who has been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression in the past, also said that absorbing other people's "spiritual energy" gets him down and effects his live show. So, in the hopes of putting on the best performance, he's scrapping the meet and greets.

Love u guys.. I'm going to be canceling my meet and greets. I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy.. Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression .. The pressure of meeting people's expectations of what I'm supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders. Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised. Can't tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn't so hard on me.. And I want to stay in the healthy mindset I'm in to give you the best show you have ever seen ;)
Justin Bieber's Purpose World tour, in support of his album of the same name, is set to continue tonight (March 23) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
