If Meghan Trainor's new single "No" is giving you serious early-2000s vibes, you are not alone. The lead single off her upcoming album Thank You has been compared to everything from Dream to Destiny's Child to Britney Spears. And now, one producer has taken that Britney vibe to a whole new level, mashing up "No" with the classic 2001 hit "Overprotected."
Everything from the sound of "No" to its dark music video, which features Trainor dancing while wearing a long dark grey trench coat (hello 2000s!) just screams early Britney Spears, and Raheed D's mashup just proves this correlation even more.
Thanks to the similar keys, lyrical themes of independence and boldness and thrashing pop guitars, the two pop hits flow in and out of each other perfectly. Spears sings about feeling "Overprotected" and it moves in seamlessly to Trainor being "untouchable."

While "Overprotected" was one of the standout singles from Spears' 2001 album Britney, "No" is the lead track from Trainor's sophomore album Thank You, which is due to be released on May 13.
Most details surrounding Trainor's new album remain under wraps, though she did unveil the cover art on her Instagram earlier this month.
