Back in November, Ty Dolla $ign released his debut album, Free TC, and today (March 25), he gifted fans with a deluxe version of the LP.
The updated version of the album features four new tracks with production from Metro Boomin and DJ Mustard as well as guest spots by Quavo of Migos and Joe Moses.
As previously noted, Free TC was named for the Taylor Gang artist's younger brother who is currently serving a 67-year sentence in prison for a murder both brothers insist he did not commit. He was denied his first appeal in 2008 and he and Dolla $ign are now preparing for his second appeal.
The “Paranoid” singer is dedicated to bringing awareness to his brother’s case and other’s like it. Prior to the release of the deluxe album, Dolla $ign screened the Free TC mini documentary at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, California. During the screening, he spoke to HipHopDX about his brother’s upcoming appeal and revealed that he uses the proceeds from his album for legal fees.
"You only have two," Dolla $ign said. "This next one's very important. Shoutout to everybody that's been supportive. Like I've said from the beginning, every dollar that I'm making from this is going to his case to get the best lawyers to provide the best situation for him to get a second chance at life like he deserves just like everybody else."
The tracklist of new songs and stream for the deluxe version of Free TC are as follows:
1. Like A Drug
2. Westside
3. Long Time f. Quavo (Prod. by Metro Boomin)
4. Wavy f. Joe Moses (Prod. by DJ Mustard)
