Spice Girls Reportedly Set to Tour for 20th Anniversary Without Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham can't say she'll be there.

“Posh" won't be joining fellow Spices Melanie “Sporty” Chisholm, Emma “Baby” Bunton and Geri “Ginger” Halliwell and Mel "Scary" Brown for their 20th anniversary reunion tour.

An insider told US Weekly, “This has been in the works for the past year. The girls have long been keen to do a major reunion tour together.” The source added: "She won't sing or dance. There's a small chance she'll film something with them or make an appearance at a show here or there."

A second source told US: “They are trying to convince Victoria to jump in, but she doesn’t want to to do it. If she doesn’t agree, they are moving ahead without her.”

Beckham doesn’t want to do the reunion tour because she is too busy, according to NME.

Mel B sparked the reunion rumors on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this past October, saying that she “would love to get back together and do something with the Spice Girls.”

Mel B had said in the past that she would not do the tour unless all former members were on board with the 20th anniversary reunion, but has apparently changed her tune. The rumors were also fueled by appearances to promote her TV show, America’s Got Talent, but it has only just been confirmed that Halliwell, Chisholm and Bunton are in.

This tour wouldn’t be the first time '90s the group has reunited. The Spice Girls also toured in 2007 and 2008, as well as performing at the London Olympics in 2012.
