There's no doubt that Jack White is a pretty cool guy. Despite his penchant for dissing The Black Keys a lot, he has a lot of paisley shirts, some sick guitar skills and he's really into vinyl records. That makes for a rad dude in most people's books. But now, his coolness factor has been kicked up another notch... literally. It has been announced that Australian gelato chain Gelato Messina has named a new confectionary flavor in honor of the Third Man Records boss.
According to Tonedeaf, the limited-edition gelato flavor, fittingly titled Jack N' White, will be on the road for the next week, available at six or seven Gelato Messina stores across Australia.
More so than White's bluesy musical aesthetic or personality, Jack N' White takes a note from the singer/guitarist's name for his gelato flavor. The Jack N' White is comprised (deliciously) of: a shot of Jack Daniels whiskey, caramelized white chocolate gelato, caramelized pecans and a caramel fudge.
Sounds delightfully refreshing and unhealthy... someone get Music Times a plane to Australia, stat!
Yesterday (June 17), Gelato Messina announced the Jack N' White on its official Instagram account, alongside a really tempting photograph:
The release of the Jack N' White gelato flavor follows the release of Jack White's second official solo album Lazaretto, which was officially released on June 10. Lately, White has been promoting his new record with a North American tour, including recent festival dates at Bonnaroo and Governors Ball.
