Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, O-Town and 98 Degrees Members Release 'In the End' from 'Dead 7'

If you have a certain aching nostalgia for boy bands that even modern day groups like One Direction cannot fill the hole in your heart, there's a new song for you. Members of Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, 98 Degrees and O-Town have joined together for an upcoming Syfy movie Dead 7, and of course, it has a delicious boy band pop theme song "In the End."

Featuring Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and AJ McLean of Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick of NSYNC, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees and Michael Estrada from O-Town (also known as the Dead 7), "In the End" features the sort of dramatics that only members of various '90s boy band could provide. There's the vague lyrics of striving for success and love, sweet yet luscious harmonies in the chorus and sweeping orchestral strings.

Seriously, 1D who?

"In the End" comes from the forthcoming made-for-TV movie Dead 7, which was written by BSB's Nick Carter. According to iMDB, the Syfy film will feature seven '90s boy band members in a post-apocalyptic Western town as they try and rid the world of a zombie plague. It brings together former (and current) members of Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, 98 Degrees and O-Town. The film also stars Carrie Keagan, Lauren Kitt Carter, Frenchie Davis and Debra Wilson.

Buzzfeed reports that Dead 7 is set to premiere on Syfy on Friday, April 1, at 8 p.m. The movie will be available on DVD and On-Demand services on June 6.
