By now, most have been brought up to speed on the whole Kyrie Irving, Kehlani and PARTYNEXTDOOR love triangle, but what most haven't heard is a statement from the NBA star on all of this. The Cleveland Cavaliers point guard has kept pretty quiet and it seems as if he has finally collected his thoughts.
Irving took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the situation and kept it quite wholesome and professional:
It's been hard to see what's been going on and not address the truth. I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try and spark all
— Kyrie Irving (@KyrieIrving) March 31, 2016
Of this non sense that could have been avoided, but Me and Kehlani were not dating when the picture came out. — Kyrie Irving (@KyrieIrving) March 31, 2016
It's unfortunate that it's received so much attention but its become bigger because of a post that was misunderstood.
— Kyrie Irving (@KyrieIrving) March 31, 2016
Nothing but love and compassion over this way for her and her family. My only focus the Game I love to play every night. — Kyrie Irving (@KyrieIrving) March 31, 2016
It is clear from Irving's tweets that he wasn't offended much at all by PARTYNEXTDOOR's photo or caption and he wishes Kehlani nothing but the best. Guess Chris Brown must feel real stupid now, after taking to his social media to attack Kehlani and stating that she was faking her suicide attempt. According to Complex, Brown was defending Irving since they are good friends. As you can see in the tweets above, Irving hasn't addressed the comments from Brown.
Now that Irving has addressed the situation and has made it clear that his main focus is basketball, this may be the time for all of us to start moving on from this drama. We wish all three parties the best and a quick recovery.
