UK producer and DJ Sasha has released his new lengthy ambient electronic album Scene Delete released through the London label Late Night Tales, which is known for releasing long ambient and downtempo compilations from some of the best at it in electronic music.
Sasha's music normally has been designed for the club, whether it has been with John Digweed during their days together as Sasha & Digweed or on his own. This album takes a step back from those quintessential progressive songs into something that is more ambient and meant to be listened to in the comfort of your home.
The bass is much softer and the soft synth chords ebb and flow like the soft swells of an ocean being led by a gentle breeze. The songs have the diversity from one to the next to not just sound like one plain chord, but there is a seamlessness that permeates from one record to the next. This is not something to get you amped for your weekend, but rather for a Sunday or to come down after a long night. It is timeless music that can be revisited whenever, wherever.
This is the first LP from Sasha since his compilation record Involv3r in 2013. Other names who have taken on the Late Night Tales series include Jon Hopkins, Nils Frahm, Four Tet and Bonobo.
Scene Delete is now available to stream, buy on iTunes and also can be picked up in CD and triple pack vinyl formats . Listen to it and check out the complete tracklist below.
