Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs is still in the business of making money and signing new talent to his Bad Boy Records label. His most recent artist signed to the growing empire is his very own son, Christian Combs, aka King Combs.
Despite the fact that Diddy released the news via social media on April Fools' Day 2016, the information was anything but a hoax.
As reported by EUR, Combs' son Christian celebrated his 18th birthday by signing a record deal with Bad Boy and Epic Records, which handles distribution for the label. On Instagram, the proud father shared a video of his son, with pen in hand, signing his new deal while seated next to Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid.

Christian is Combs' youngest son with his ex, Kim Porter, and has grown up in the center of the music business, which we learned thanks to his recent Instagram post. "Music is something that's been part of my my whole life," the 18-year-old said in his message. Signing the deal with his father and Epic was "a dream come true" for the young rapper.
Yesterday was the greatest day of my life. Not only was it my birthday, but Also the day a dream came true. I got signed to epic and BADboy records. I'm extremely thankful for everything that God has blessed me with and I will never take it for granted. Music is something that's been part of me my whole life. #Epic #Badboy we got this! Though Combs knows just how difficult a task it is to be an entertainer and shares that information with his son, he also has the utmost respect for him and believes in his talents and abilities.
"I couldn't be prouder of Christian," he explained in a press release, according to Billboard. "He's an incredibly talented artist with a bright future [and he] has earned this opportunity from hard work and dedication and he represents the future of Bad Boy."
King Combs revealed during an interview with The Breakfast Club back in August 2015 that he would be following in the footsteps of his father and also plans to write his own rhymes.
