Hot Rumour Share New Song 'Run To Me' Ahead of 2016 Tour Dates [LISTEN]

Hot Rumour (formerly Memoirs) is a band from Los Angeles that has big plans for 2016. Formed at the end of last year, the three-piece, consisting of producer Frankie Siragusa, and brothers Aaron and Josh Ficchi, has premiered a new single entitled "Run to Me" earlier this month. This track is off of their debut EP, MMXVI, which will be supported by West Coast tour dates later this year. Before this band blows up, listen to their new song right now!

"Run To Me" is an instant hit. It has a simplicity to it, which is built upon by layers of instrumentation and samples. It must be nice to have a top LA producer in the band! It clearly shows in this tune.

This is an emotional single that has a smooth sound to it that also has aspects of grittiness and dissonance that really capture the feeling throughout. Aaron Ficchi's vocals shine past the production, making the lyrics to this pop rock tune the standout aspect of it. It's catchy without losing its uniqueness.

The hook changes between the vocals and instrumentation, and then goes even further by changing between the piano, synth pads, sub bass and guitar.

It's wild to think that this band formed only 4 months ago and released a great new track in such a short period of time. "Run To Me" is a great mix of indie rock with alternative and pop music that has drawn comparisons to bands like Muse, AWOLnation, The Killers, Coldplay and other acts that can sell out arena tours these days. In other words, we think that Hot Rumour is going places!
