One of Australia's largest festivals Splendour In The Glass has unveiled its 2016 lineup and boy is it big. The likes of The Strokes, James Blake, Sigur Rós, The Cure, Flume, The 1975 and many others will headline the three-day camping festival taking place during the Aussie winter.
The festival has a habit of snagging artists for their only Australian show of the year and this time is no different. They have the only Australian shows for The Avalanches, Sigur Rós, The Strokes and James Vincent McMorrow.
Other big names that are included on the lineup include At The Drive-In, Violent Soho, Band Of Horses, Hermitude, Santigold, Duke Dumont, Leon Bridges, Courtney Barnett, Matt Corby and others.
Splendour In The Grass puts on for its country with a strong Aussie contingent, tabbing the likes of Courtney Barnett, Flume, Hayden James, Hermitude, Matt Corby, Just A Gent, Boy & Bear and others.
There is a bit of everything on the Splendour lineup, ranging from electronic, to rock to folk and everything in between.
The lineup is varied, but dominated by electronic and rock acts. Some of the electronic acts heading or staying down under this July include Hermitude, GANZ, Lido, Motez, Slumberjack, Just A Gent, What So Not, L D R U and Duke Dumont.
More rock and indie acts on the bill include Nothing But Thieves, Beach Slang, Jack Garratt, Band of Horses, The Kills, Gang of Youths, Tegan & Sara and Sticky Fingers.
Splendour In The Grass takes place from July 22-24 in Byron Bay, Australia. Tickets and camping passes will become available April 21 at 9 a.m. local on the festival website. Find the full lineup below.
