Kip Moore has joined in a battle that Eric Church has long been embroiled in - scalpers and ticket sales. This week, he posted an open letter to both fans and scalpers on his Facebook and he didn't pull any punches, worry about being politically correct or hurting any scalpers feelings.
In the letter, he shares a list of things that piss him off, including some we can all relate to like politicians, rising gas prices, constant selfies, duck lips and being politically correct (to name a few). Then he hits the biggest rager for him - scalpers. Calling them some well-earned names, he then tells them how wrong they are. His concert tickets for the upcoming CMT Tour will go for between $25 and $35 and he makes sure that fans know it. (VIP packages are, of course, more but that is to be expected.)
You have to love a guy that speaks his mind and speaks from the heart. If nothing else, the letter shows fans where his heart is ... with them.
Kip and his team are trying to figure out a way to stop scalpers in their tracks but in the meantime, he says to get tickets early before the scalpers snatch a bunch up. He should really talk to Eric Church's team. While they haven't been able to eradicate scalpers like the pesky bugs that they are, they are making it a whole lot harder for them to rip people off.
