Katy Perry has offered to help on Hillary Clinton if she launches a 2016 presidential campaign, CNN reports.
"I told Hillary Clinton that I would write her a 'theme' song if she needs it," Perry wrote in an Instagram caption of a photo of the two of them at Clinton's Hard Choices book signing on Friday.
Clinton responding in a tweet Sunday with a play on her new book title as well as Katy Perry's 2013 hit song "Roar."
"@KatyPerry Well that's not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar," she wrote.
As CNN notes, the lyrics in the song tell of a woman who used to "bite my tongue and hold my breath, scared to rock the boat."
She was pushed to her "breaking point," and "got up. Already brushing off the dust. You hear my voice, you hear that sound. Like thunder gonna shake the ground. You held me down, but I got up. Get ready cause I've had enough."
Clinton can probably relate.
Perry is not only a fan of Clinton but is also a supporter of President Barack Obama.
