MSTRKRFT: Little Red Hen
The duo comprised of Death From Above 1979's Jesse F. Keeler and Al-P of the former Girlsareshort shared the news on Twitter that they would be heading out on tour for the first two weeks of June.
The tour will kick off in Washington, D.C. at U Street Music Hall and then over the next ten days they will play gigs in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Ottawa, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. This would be there first tour across the United States in nearly five years.
The news of a brief tour comes just a short while after their performance at SXSW 2016 in Austin and released their aggressive, acid-tipped single "Little Red Hen." In a Q&A with fans on the SoundCloud stream of the song, they revealed that there are a few remixes in the pipeline and are in the process of recording their next album. They have not released an album since their 2009 LP Fist Of God, so new material and even a tour is something fans have to check out given how long it has been between cycles.
