Keke Wyatt just released her fifth studio album, Rated Love, and celebrated with a star-studded album release party over the weekend, where some of her R&B Divas: Atlanta cast members came out to show her some love on the new project.
Ke'Tara Shavon Wyatt, better known as Keke release the 16-track fifth studio album on April 22 and had the release party on the same night in LA according to Wyatt's Instagram. The event took place at 333 Live, a club space that was formerly owned by Prince, the music legend that died on Thursday, April 21, the day before the event. At the time Prince owned it, the club was called Glam Slam, as reported by Singersroom.
Included on this album are the previously released singles, "Sexy Song" and "Love Me" which were released in late 2015 and early 2016. After the built up anticipation for a completed album, Wyatt has proven to fans that this project was well worth the wait. The album comes with songs that are guaranteed to remain on repeat and remind fans of why they first fell in love with her voice from the very beginning with her debut album, Soul Sista in 2001, and her 2013 duet with Avant, "You & I." Some of Wyatt's sisters in soul came out to show their love and support, and turned the event into a TV One R&B Divas: Atlanta reunion. Faith Evans not only attended but, hosted the event and Nicci Gilbert, producer of the hit reality show, showed her support by attending.
Other entertainers in attendance included Sheryl Lee Ralph, Teedra Moses, Lisa Wu and Dondria. Rated Love is available now on iTunes, at Walmart, Best Buy, "or wherever CDs are sold," as mentioned in Wyatt's Tweet.
