Ice-T Says Body Count Video Is NOT Racist [WATCH]

Veteran rapper / actor Ice-T has been making the rounds as of late in order to promote the new Body Count album Manslaughter. The band recently released a video for the single, "Talk Sh-t, Get Shot," which has been getting slammed and labeled as racist because only white people appear to get shot in the video.

Now, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star is setting the record straight... with TMZ, of course.

"You know what happened," Ice tells the gossip site. "The video director, he only brought white people for us to shoot."

The rapper then goes on to say that he had nothing to do with the choice of "victims" in the video. It was all the director's choice –– a guy named Frank, as Ice tells TMZ. "The video is really directed at bloggers, people that are talking mess on the Internet. And this is our play on, you know, what people wish they could do. I think people wish they could reach right through the computer and snatch people sometimes. And it's Body Count, so it's fantasy."

Before heading out for a night of undoubted fun, Ice told the photog that the video has absolutely nothing to do with race and that people are just "looking for something to talk sh-t about."

Watch the video for "Talk Sh-t, Get Shot" and give us your thoughts in the comments section.

Also, be sure to check out Ice-T's comical run-in with TMZ. Stick around for the end banter between the photographer and Ice's son.

So, is this really a case of racism or one of people being way, way too sensitive?
