Love & Hip Hop: ATL's season five, episode five aired last night (Monday, May 2) on VH1 and if viewers took anything from it, it's that Joseline Hernandez is back with a vengeance! She wasn't lying when she said she had tea for everyone and she's serving it whether they like it or not. This recap highlights all the drama and beef Joseline started with Karlie Redd, Tommie, and so many more!
The episode kicks off right in the middle Joseline and Karlie's awkward conversation. Karlie is shocked that Joseline would threaten to reveal information about her out of spite, but ultimately believes she doesn't really have any dirt on her to expose. The situation seems to hurt Karlie, because she thought she had a genuine friendship with Joseline. Joseline only seems worried about keeping her name out of other people's mouths. Joseline's nonchalant attitude becomes too much for Karlie, so she decides to walk off.
It's the night of Kirk Frost's showcase and his daughter Kelsie hit the stage to show she has what it takes to get signed to his label. Scrappy shows up to the showcase with Yung Joc. Rasheeda hopes Scrappy and Kirk will be able to talk things out, while Joc thinks he'll be a great mediator for the conversation. After her performance, Kelsie is met with positive feedback from Rasheeda and Kirk. Kelsie thinks she's proven herself enough to get signed but her dad and step-mom, believe she needs to take a little more time to perfect her craft. Kirk finds out Scrappy is at the showcase and he's not impressed. Scrappy begins to further explain why the situation upset him so much, using his daughter Kelsie as an example. Kirk finally realizes why Scrappy reacted the way he did. The two ultimately squash their beef and hug it out.
Joseline and Stevie J are out shopping around for different venues to hold their big video release party. Stevie is hesitant about Joseline's guest list, because she invited the entire cast knowing the majority of them don't get along with each other. Karen "KK" King drops by, which gave Joseline an open window to voice her suspicions about her friendship with Stevie. She asks if they ever had sex and they both deny it. Both Karen and Stevie are shocked by the allegations. Karen feels a little disrespected and is ready to wash her hands with Joseline. For Joseline, the feeling is mutual.
Joseline is on a "spill the tea spree" and the next person on her list is none other than Mimi Faust. Joseline tells Mimi about her video release party and her idea to invite everyone to the event. She wants Mimi to invite the other girls. Joseline also tells Mimi about the rumor surrounding Stevie J and Karen having sexual relations. It doesn't stop there. Joseline gives Mimi an envelope filled with Karen's past legal troubles, including her being on America's Most Wanted list. Mimi is shocked by the information, but thankful that Joseline gave it to her.
Scrapp is out supporting his little brother Sas at his mixtape release party. The two begin talking about paying their respects to Dolla on his birthday, but Sas is worried their mom might not show up, because she's currently not on good terms with Scrapp. Scrapp lets him know how they got to that point. Karen walks in on their conversation and Scrapp is immediately ready to leave. Sas convinces him to stay. Sas invites his mom to come with them to Dolla's grave site, but Karen can't give him a definite answer just yet. She's never been to his grave site since he passed.
The meeting between Tiarra and Karen soon becomes the focus of the conversation, with Karen still refusing to speak with her. Karen thinks Scrapp should take her to court, but Scrapp is looking to avoid the court system at all costs. Realizing they won't agree on a solution, Karen decides to walk out. Mimi invites Chris to her housewarming party, but Chris doesn't know if he feels comfortable being around that many females. She then tells Chris about Stevie and Joseline moving back to town. Chris is not too happy about it. Stevie wants to meet Chris, but Chris is resistant about it. Mimi also extended an invite to Joseline's video release party, but Chris isn't in any rush to meet them.
Tommie storms into Scrapp's loft unannounced to look for the alleged mystery chick Joseline said he's been messing with on the side. Tommie shows up wearing lingerie to tease Scrapp and show him what he gave up. Tommie searches every room to find any piece of evidence she can about this alleged third woman in Scrapp's life, but she comes up with nothing. Scrapp yells at her for acting crazy! She ultimately starts to believe that he might be right and begins to cry. At this point, Tommie has lost trust in Joseline as well. Scrapp plans to talk to Stevie about the bombshell Joseline dropped on Tommie.
Stevie, Scrapp, Kirk, Scrappy, and Joc go paintballing to release some steam. After a moment of boy talk, Scrapp tells them about Tommie barging into his loft and accusing him of dealing with another woman. His attention is focused on Stevie, since it was Joseline that tipped Tommie off. Stevie is shocked and wonders what Joseline is thinking by making all these crazy accusations. Stevie tells Scrapp he'll talk to Joseline about it.
Mimi has her house warming with Jessica Dime, Tammy Rivera, Ariane, Rasheeda, and Tiarra. She tells the ladies about Joseline's video release party and the entire vibe of the room changes. None of the ladies plan on attending the event, especially Tammy and Jessica. Tammy thinks Joseline is jealous of her. Karlie soon joins the party, despite her reluctance to celebrate. Karlie tells the ladies about her meeting with Joseline and how she threatened to blackmail her. Mimi takes a poll of everyone who wants to go, soon realizing she's the only one.
It's the night of Joseline's video release party! Mimi introduces Joseline to Chris and she's not impressed. She pictured Mimi with a more feminine lesbian. Joseline immediately rubs Chris the wrong way, especially when she brings up the threesome they had with Stevie. Before the conversation could truly escalate, the episode ended.
