Premiere: SEE Shares Magical Alt-Rock, Pop 'Potions'

SEE may not be a familiar name to most of you now, but there is a solid chance that could change in the future. The 20-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist from Long Island is gearing up to release the music she recorded last year with producer Brad Wood, whose credits include the Smashing Pumpkins, Liz Phair and Sunny Day Real Estate and co-producer Walt Dicristina. The first taste of that is right here - the emotional and riveting "Potions," which we have the premiere for you.

Not another cheesy love song, "Potions" is well written and draws you in from the opening seconds and grips you right until the last echoing drum. SEE softly coos out the verses and then elevates in the hooks to match the bombastic instrumental underneath of rock guitar chords and strong drums. With a little bit of alt-rock and pop all in one song, SEE has a special formula going forward.

"When I wrote 'Potions' I really wanted to capture the entrancing quality of being with another person on both a physical and mental level," the singer tells Music Times over email.

There is plenty more to come from SEE this year and beyond. She took the plunge and skipped out on college to pursue her music full-time, netting loads of new music that will be released this year. She recorded 11 songs with Brad Wood and will release a portion of that as an EP, Ties, this summer.

"Potions" will be released in a few weeks but until then stream the full track below exclusively with us! Her EP Ties will be released this summer.
