Wu-Tang Clan Post Advertisement Looking For Unpaid Social Media Intern

Despite the pending multi-million dollar paycheck they'll receive from their one-of-a-kind album, it looks like Wu-Tang Clan can't afford to pay an intern. However, if you're cool with working for free so that you can be compensated in perks, then they might have just the job for you. According to a post on Craigslist (via Radio.com), The Wu are looking for a social media intern to be based out of New Jersey.

"Wu-Tang Management is currently looking for people that are versed in social media networking and also up on the newest social networking trends," the post reads. "We are looking for individuals that are able to set appointed times thorough the day to do social media updates and stay consistent with posts. The perfect candidate would be someone that is available for various events to document footage and pictures on all social media outlets i.e Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc."

Here are the skills that Wu-Tang Clan's management team is looking for:

  • Excellent written communication skills, with ability to communicate with diverse audiences
  • Interest in the music/entertainment industry
  • Professional demeanor
  • Experience with social networking (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Ning, Blogspot, etc.)
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines

The intern would potentially have a lot of work considering the busy schedule the Wu have ahead of them. In addition to celebrating their 20th anniversary this summer, they are also headlining several festivals and are readying the release of their new album, A Better Tomorrow.
