Taylor Swift Spends Time With Patients of Children’s Hospital in Australia

Taylor Swift took a break from her thriving music career to surprise the young patients of the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in South Brisbane, Australia. The "Shake it Off" singer is currently in the Land Down Under to accompany her new boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, for the filming of Thor: Ragnarok.

Monday was certainly a very special day for the patients and their families after they got an unexpected visit from the pop princess. According to Billboard, the artist spent the day taking selfies with the kids and handing out various personalized gifts and autographed memorabilia.

The parents also had a wonderful experience after seeing Swift take time off from her busy schedule to spend the day with their children. Many of them immediately took to their social media accounts to share the memorable encounter.

"My eldest daughter has had her ultimate dream come true tonight & I can't say thank you enough for giving my kids the amazing experience tonight of meeting beautiful Taylor Swift," a parent shared.

Swift arrived in Australia on Thursday last week with Hiddleston. They were seen walking with their arms interlocked as they went through the Sydney International Airport, People reported.

According to the site, Hiddleston is currently in Queensland for the filming of the upcoming movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since Swift is with her, the pop star might get the chance to spend a little time with his Thor: Ragnarok cast members which include Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum and Anthony Hopkins.

But aside from mingling with her celebrity friends, getting some alone time with her new beau and making Australian kids happy, Swift is also probably making the most out of her vacation after successfully dominating the entertainment industry. After all, she was recently named as the highest-paid artist of 2016 in the Forbes Celebrity 100 List.
